I was looking for some cool freaky hairstyles or hair wigs for Halloween. Something different from the stuff you usually see. I like the Octomom – the lady that had eight babies in January. I think that would be easy to do. How would my Husband dress…a News Anchor?

My little boy loves Harry Potter! He cannot get enough of the books or the movies. He has been Harry Potter once before but once again he is excited to be him this year too!

I was looking at the couples’ costume of the Flintstones and I remembered that I’d seen a Dino costume for dogs. It was really cute… I’ve always loved Fred and Wilma. I grew up on those cartoons…

The dog the bounty hunter and his wife is a pretty original costume that you don’t see too often. I wonder if people would recognize who you were though. That is often the dilemma of dressing up. Go for something totally original and have to explain who you are all night or go for the old classics like the Flinstones and such like.

I dressed in a Star Trek outfit last year. It was pretty good but most people didn’t really know who I was. I think you either have to have lots of accessories to bulk up the costume or you need to go as a distinctive character. Spock ears would make it obvious I guess.

What happened to the costume I used to wear as a kid, so long ago – the good old Popeye costume? I remember a costume with Popeye and complete with his trusty pipe. That pipe was the ultimate accessory!

Great site filled with costumes. My mother used to make all my costumes when I was a kid. Now that I have kids of my own I just go out and buy them. I don’t know how my mother ever had time to make costumes.
