I can think of 100′s of popular costume ideas for couples and the number one on the list for 2009 year will be President Obama and his wife Michelle. Yes.. you can look like the President of the United States for an evening. The Secret Service will cost you extra!
So be creative and put outfits together that are unusual and fun. Here are just a few couples costume ideas to get those creative juices flowing.
The Barack Obama Adult Mask
You don’t need a store bought costume with this life like Obama face mask. Just add your favorite coat and tie, put your favorite lady in a Michelle Obama Mask, clothe her in a off-the shelf sleeveless shift dress and that’s it, our first couple for the night. Popeye and Olive Oyl were some of my favorites. And the fact that Brutus (or was it Bluto?) always in the background bothering Popeye. Thank goodness for spinach… I think Olive Oyl’s pretty neat. Oh yeah, and there’s Wimpy… He’s cool…

I love going to parties at Halloween and seeing couples dressed up in coordinating costumes, it looks really great! Of all the ones you have listed here, I like the Popeye and Olive Oyl ones best! The only way to top that would be if the guy dressed up as Olive Oyl and the girl dressed up as Popeye!!! Could be quite original!

I think couples costumes are the best for halloween. You see Hugh Hefner fairly often, but I really like the Jane and George Jetson idea! That’s pretty funny. I think the king and queen of hearts is neat as well.

My wife and I were a Pregnant Nun and a Priest with thick gold chains last year. This year we are dressing up a flapper and zoot suit gangster similar to what you have above. If we had not already bought ours I would definitely get your Adult Flapper and Zoot Suit Costume Set. It looks like it’s really high quality.

Just happen to find this site and wish I would have found it earlier. The wife and I were vampires but the costumes that we had were nothing like the Victorian Vampire Adults Costume for Couples that is found on this page. Wow, how cool these two costumes look. It took a lot of effort just to find vampire costumes that were only 20% as good as the ones above. I will be sure to keep this website saved to my favorites for next year.
One feature of these costumes that I love are the Victorian Theme. They are so elegantly display. Great choice to carry this theme in vampire attire.

The yip yips are amasing. don’t know the last time ive seen them around nowadays. i think i’m going to have to find a costume shop where i can get something similar!

I love the jazz look, it’s very cool and would look great at a fancy dress party. I wonder where you could get that kind of look but in a different colour. I can see my girlfriend in that dress, she likes that vintage style anyway. Some great costume ideas!
